Privacy notice
A plain-language overview of the information used by the Astro website, launcher and Discord access check.
Website
Astro uses essential sign-in cookies to connect your website account and launcher. Its hosting infrastructure may process standard request data such as an IP address, browser type and request time to deliver and secure the site.
Downloads
Paid launcher and macro files are delivered by GitHub after Astro checks your access. Existing free downloads may also use Cloudflare. These providers process the network information needed to serve each file.
Subscriptions and accounts
Astro stores your verified Discord identity, subscription status, billing-provider identifiers and launcher sessions in Supabase. Stripe processes checkout and payment-card information; Astro receives billing events needed to grant, renew or remove access. Astro does not receive your full payment-card details.
Discord access
Paid accounts and restricted macros use Discord sign-in. The service uses your Discord user ID, username and server-role status to confirm access. The separate legacy server verification flow also asks permission to add your account to Astro's backup server only if recovery is needed. The resulting Discord OAuth grant is encrypted in private storage until consent is withdrawn or recovery is completed. Astro does not receive your Discord password.
Local application data
Astro stores its installed-macro list, cached artwork and update state locally on your Windows device. Individual macros may also store their own settings locally so they persist between launches. The paid launcher protects its saved login using Windows encryption and rechecks access with the server. You can sign out connected launchers from your account.
Support
Information you send through Discord is used to respond to your support request. Do not include passwords or other sensitive credentials in a support message.
